Heartily welcome to Civil Engineering Department of V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot. Civil Engineering is one of the oldest engineering disciplines which is constantly striving to make the life of every citizen easier, raise the standard of living and making the world better with more civilized place to live.
Many serious problems, critical situations and unbelievable crises are due to the rapidly increasing world population, improper living standards, unethical practices and haphazard use of natural resources. Hence too resolve the same, it is necessary to deliver the best technical knowledge with ethics and moral values to our students that ultimately leads to benefits to society and nation.
The department of civil engineering strives for excellence in teaching and learning and professional development. We are proud to have state-of-the-art laboratories and dedicated academic and technical staff to support our academic program. Our department and its experienced staff offers practice related education, preparing our students for a successful and rewarding career.
To enhance various skills such as technical, employability, research and innovation skills of our students, the Department encourages the students to undertake an internship, in-plant training. Apart from the regular curriculum, the department conducts Workshops/Guest Lectures/Industrial Visits for the students to augment their proficiency.
