2018 Batch placement- Spectacular Superb-Awesome Achievement of EC department

Continuously Highest Placement above 50 has been the tradition of Electronics and Communication Department. This year total, above 59 students is placed. Consecutively since 6 years placement of EC department has crossed the figure of 50, while students are studying. This time, by the month of April 2017, 59 students are already placed in MNCs and well-known companies and core groups for the branch like Matrix Comsec, e-Infochips, BYJU’S, Reliance Jio, Searce, Yudiz, Rangam Infotech, Just dial, Idea Tech and more.

The highest paying job to a fresher in his 8th semester in the history of OUR DEPARTMENT. THE PACKAGE OF 10 LAKHS. Parth Thaker has created the history. He has been selected in BYJU'S - The Learning App with the record breaking package of 10 lakhs per annum. He will always be remembered for his great achievement.

Consecutively since 4 years placement of EC department has crossed the figure of 50, while students are studying. In recession time this is the Great bench mark set by EC department. It is Spectacular Superb-Awesome Achievement of EC department.

This marvelous placement record that EC dept. achieves since last 4 years has been achieved by dedicated efforts of faculty members and Hard work carried out by students. In entire GTU EC branch, only EC Dept. of VVP Engineering College has been able to achieve such Highest placement year after year continuously.

Our 2016, 2015 and 2014 batch students are currently working with esteemed MNCs like Intel, Capgemini, IBM, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Matrix Comsec, e-Infochips, L&T InfoTech, i-Gate, Congnizant, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, and many more. This excellent placement has been achieved because of multiple reasons like the highly qualified staff members teaching them, the rigorous industrial training in the 6th semester and industry defined projects in the final year that give students industrial exposure. In addition to that students are assigned hardware/software based projects for every subject in each semester which assists in skill development.
