ISTE- Indian Society for Technical Education
To facilitate objective of the ISTE to provide quality training programs to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity and to assist and contribute in the production and development of topquality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organizations, V. V. P. Engineering College has become an active Institutional Member (IM 1078) of ISTE in the year 2003 and had also set up ISTE Student Chapter (GJ-07) in2004 and ISTE Staff Chapter (GJ-027) in 2003. ISTE Students Chapter and Staff Chapter are very vibrant and have taken initiative of excellence in education. All students are member of ISTE student chapter.

The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) is Indias leading recognized professional society devoted to the advancement of Science and Technology of Electronics, Telecommunication & IT. Founded in 1953. The IETE is the NationalApex Professional body of Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science and IT Professionals. It serves more than 1,25,000 members (including Corporate, Student and ISF members) through various 63 Centers, spread all over India and abroad. TheInstitution provides leadership in Scientific and Technical areas of direct importance to the national development and economy. Government of India has recognized IETE as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) and also notified as aneducational Institution of national eminence. The objectives of IETE focus on advancing electro-technology. The IETE conducts and sponsors technical meetings, conferences, symposia, and exhibitions all over India, publishes technical journals and providescontinuing education as well as career advancement opportunities to its members.
CSI – Computer Society of India
V.V.P. Engineering college became an Institutional member (Member ID: M10791) of Computer Society of India (CSI) to connect with IT professionals/academicians. Faculty can share their knowledge and exchange ideas on fast-emerging sector. Students can direct towards the advancement of the theory and practice of computer science and IT.
IIRS- INDIAN INSTITUTE OF REMOTE SENSING:
The use of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System, Global Navigation Satellite System and associated geospatial technologies is increasing rapidly, creating an urgent demand for trained manpower. The live and interactive mode of distancelearning is enabled through the Internet and A-view software platform developed by Amrita e-learning Lab in collaboration with the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India. The programs are available through Internet withoutany cost to the user. The live and interactive sessions will be conducted by experts from IISR-ISRO and other knowledge Institutions.
VVP Engineering College is now a network institute of IIRS outreach network. The name of VVP engineering college is included in the online application form of IIRS Outreach Program.
