For overall development of students VVP Engineering College cultivates the managerial skills, leadership abilities, team spirit and soft skills in students by conducting various technical symposiums and fests in campus on a regular interval. The institute has hosted GTU ZONAL TECHFESTs three times and ISTE STATE LEVEL and NATIONAL LEVEL conventions. The institute has also organised state level technical events. Around 3000 students from various colleges and universities have participated in each event with enthusiasm. These technical events are organized for the students by the students. In each semester our students plans and executes the events under the supervision and monitoring of our faculties.

| 2 | Eklavya Hackathon 2023 | In the said hackathon teams of 4 young budding engineers will compete with their novel solutions for solving the social issues with empathy. The objective of HACATHON is to enhance the technical skills, and soft skills of the students. student will get a wide platform to showcase their talents with multidisciplinary approach. This event is planned to improve complex problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and lifelong learning attitude. Idea behind this event, is not to restrict the innovation and creativity of students on domain or area. All are welcomed to participate with their own ideas for solving societal problems with innovative solution. Teams can bring their ready solutions to demonstrate, can also go with software or hardware-based solutions. This event is planned for 8 hours. | 28th April, 2023 |
| 2 | Shaurya Techfest- 2023 | Institute was decorated on the theme of Evaluation of Engineering, G20, and Energy Swaraj. VVP trust Managing trustee Shri. Lalitbhai Mehta, and trustees Mr. Kaushikbhai Shukla, Dr. Sanjibhai Oza, Mr. Harshalbhai Maniar and Dr. Narendrabhai Dave have supported and granted all the financial approvals timely, to make this event a grand success. Entire event was held under the leadership of Principal Dr. Tejas Patalia. Such a huge event was not possible to organize without financial sponsorship of Rolex Rings, Daawat Bevarages, Gopal Snacks, K7 International, RNSB Bank, Weebee solutions, etc. | 29th April, 2023 |
| 3 | TECHNOTHON 18 | On the occassion of Engineers Day “TECHNOTHON” event was organized for thethe students of V.V.P Engineering College. The event was successful enough to attract as many as (2400+) registrations for one day fest which includes all the events. The fest executed with more than (45) events like Bow Man’s Battle Ground, CADD Q&A, 50 ka funda, Buoyancy levitation, Mindware etc. All events were planned and organized at its best of quality. Focusing on the types of events to include in the fest was decided by fest coordinators keeping the interest and need of the engineering student into consideration, with little emphasis on the fun full events behind the scenes. | 15th September, 2018 |
| 4 | GTU ZONAL TECHFEST | VVP Engineering College, Rajkot got selected to conduct GTU ZONAL TECHFEST 2019 by GUJARAT TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY. GTU Zonal Techfest was a Grand two days event in the V.V.P. Engineering College campus which attracts people from all over the Gujarat, including students, academicians, Corporates and others. | 5 | ISTE State Level Convention | V.V.P engineering college had organized one day National level technical event ISTE Students Convention-2019 on 21st of September. The motive behind organization of such events was to motivate, inspire and enable learning in the students. | 6 | KaryaShala 2020 | V.V.P engineering college had organized one day institute level Workshop-Karyshala on 11th of February, 2020. Total 88 students were participated from chemical and civil engineering department.The motive behind organizing of such workshop was impart technical skill and enable learning in the students. Poster Presentation, Webinar on "Basics of Intellectual Property Rights", Online Ideathon, Online Advertisement Competition, Poster Presenation, Coding Fun with Arduino, Circuit Chakravyuh etc are organized to provide technical platform to students. |
