> V.V.P. Library – Knowledge Centre to enhance the relevant knowledge for students and faculties available in 12500 square meter area. The Library is equipped with user-friendly web-based ERP Software (In-house developed Library Management Software) that facilitates all library activities. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) is also available on the Internet for inquiring the status of the resources. Bar-coding system is in use to computerize the bibliographic details of the resources. Currently 58771 library books of worth Rs. 2,03,69,568/-are available. Various journals and magazines are subscribed for the enhancement of knowledge. In addition to that Library has large collection of value based general books. Special reference section is available for the books like competitive exams, data books, guide, encyclopaedias, and other useful technical books. Audio Visual room is available for presentation. Library has purchased NPTEL video lectures of 1.5 TB with dedicated server for student’s access. Online e-journals and e-books are being accessed through membership of NDLI (National Digital Library of India), DELNET and IIT Gandhinagar. Unique facility of Book Bank is also available for all the semester for all the students on demand bases. The Information data bank is constantly updated and the facilities are added periodically to keep in pace with the recent ICT developments in the various area of knowledge.
