“Key Societal and Industrial Challenges of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry”

When one works for a goal that is madness for others, his/her work gets converted into devotion!

From three of the greatest researchers in the field of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, this is what we learnt today from the expert lectures and interactive session by Dr. A. K. Das, Dr. Nibedita Sanyal and Dr. Harender Bisht.

The main theme behind this lecture was “Key societal + industrial challenges involving Chemistry + Chem Engg”.

The first session was conducted by Dr. A. K. Das on Energy Paradigm in EV.
Next session was presented by Dr. Bisht based on the importance of Carbon based advanced materials.

Thereafter, everyone seated in the audience, right from the senior faculty members to the students of chemical dept and mechanical dept were given the opportunity to voice their questions, when the experts motivated each of us by stating that none of the idea is stupid enough to hide!

Thoroughly informative and deeply motivating, such sessions are what we require in our routine learning process especially when it comes to academics and research.

Our department is very grateful to all the three experts for showing keen interest voluntarily to interact with the younger and relatively naive minds with great potentials.

We are also thankful to Head of the Dept Dr Piyush Vanzara and Dr. Sushil Koregaokar for coming up with such wonderful expert lectures for the students benefits.
Congratulations to our very able 2nd year students for managing the smooth conduction of entire session.
And we pay our gratitude to the entire management team of VVP ENGINEERING COLLEGE to assist at various levels.
